How do you balance working full-time and managing your small business? I've delegated a fair amount but still find myself pretty much working around the clock.

In my case it isn't balanced at all.
I have delegated some tasks, but I am in the gap between the two occupations and I tend to work many hours.
It is like a juggler, if you focus on one ball that is in the air, the others will fall.

My advice is to try to delegate everything that is "operative" and work on the crucial "strategic" topics. Again "delegate all operative tasks".

Following this. My same question as I start my small biz, looking for a new full time job, and freelance all while trying to be healthy and social and rest.

I steered myself into chaos starting up my first business while working more than full time at Warner Bros. It got very difficult, and needed to exit the day job in order to really work on the business. Once I built that biz up and it was acquired by (and merged with) a larger digital marketing agency, it became time to leave that.

I spent roughly 30 minutes to an hour a day setting up systems of how I’d turn that job into my first client. I pitched the CEO, and was able to jump ship, keep a large portion of my pay, and focus on the new business.

I’m not saying you can’t hustle and do it all, but if you want to succeed - change who it is you’re working hard for.

Hi, this is mostly a question for account management and strategists. I’ve been in advertising for a while, and am back in this market after working in others. The main thing I’m noticing that is driving me bonkers is the lack of client talent here. Across the portfolio I oversee it is very rare to get a client that understands how to brief an agency partner (creative or media or pr); there is limited capacity to really focus on objectives other than tactical KPIs.
Is this common/any advice?

I'm working on a pitch deck, for an event that I'm planning next year for my wine brand called OBA, but I'm struggling to come up with sponsorship ideas.

I don't want to go the traditional route of creating tiers, because I feel like you should do most of the things in tiers regardless on how much they donated. Can anyone assist with coming up with some ideas?

Also, does anyone know how to create a virtual swag bag?

Thanks in advance.
