What would you say is the difference between a billable hour target vs. minimum? I feel like some firms boast about not having a “minimum” but the expectation is that you to exceed this target which just makes it a minimum.

Moved over to a review system called 15Five. It allows you to review your manager. I gave my manager a terrible review. The catch is: they get to “anonymously” see your reviews. Bad move?

Now that we are getting “back to school”, what is one positive detail you have noticed about online/remote learning?

Is Covid finally becoming endemic? Most Omicron cases (according to my ER wife nurse) are very mild, and not worth the hospital visit. How will/should this impact us as educators?

Why do teachers (and people) move so quickly into personal attacks when others disagree? We teach our students not to do this. Why can't the adults behave in the way we teach others to?

Do you think that SGOs really make a difference in you as an educator and/or your students learning? Do you feel that they are a waste of time? Are they worth the effort? Do they make a difference?
