I have a wine subscription for them, they get a case every two months. Also sent them a check for a few thousand dollars after I got my last bonus (it was one of the proudest moments of my life)

I have a savings account for them so if they need anything, I can just pay. First time that's actually come up is this weekend, and I'm so glad I could say yes, I'm happy to pay, and I don't have to think about where the money is coming from.
I send a direct deposit to my mom’s account so they could use it if they needed it. I do buy gifts - ex: my mom loves gardening so I get her a plant or two here and there.

Plan and pay for a vacation, designer bags, designer jewelry, DoorDash deliveries.
With time - their greatest joy is spending time with their kids and grandkids. We live on opposite coasts so I help plan two family vacations each year with my two siblings, host my parents at my house 2-4 weeks per year, and make sure to visit for a long weekend each quarter. I pay for almost everything when we’re together but I know more than anything they just value that we’re together. I make sure to be very present (not working on my phone), join them on things they enjoy (morning yoga with my mom, cooking with my dad), and do all the chores so they can relax. They each had a surgery over the last two years (back, knee) and I took time off of work to be with them for recovery which I know meant a lot too.
