Agree all great questions but there is no guarantee you will receive an honest answer especially about the turnover rate if it’s high. I usually always ask how secure is the company or department which is similar, this can give you an idea if the company is financially stable and hopefully no layoffs which can also change at any given time. I also ask about the culture and the management style of the hiring manager and how long have they worked at the company?? What do they like the most about the company? Another question I ask is what do you believe would be the challenges the new hire would encounter in this role?
