How do you have a respectful conversation with your seniors when you ask them if you can add yourself to projects and they say "you're not ready for the next level of responsibilities yet". The very reason I want to take up these extra projects is to show my readiness to work & learn harder, and possibly take up more senior positions. I felt shut out and don't know how to reopen the conversation. Ideas?
