This picture is a few years old. I have a full chest, and it was the beginning stages of "wearable pumps" and none fit my cup size. I pumped out in the open. I wore a black oversized kimono when I was actively pumping, and got dressed wearing a cami under my work blouse and wore a pumping bra (dairy fairy!) the whole day. I'm not saying you have to do it this way, but firms are not required to make your workspace suitable for pumping (yes they do have to provide a space, but that cam be annoying to manage). I pumped for 3 kids while working big law and did it this way for all 3. For me, it worked.

As you can see, I had to actively make myself visible for anything "indecent" to be seen. And yes, over the years there was an occasional groan from people who noticed, but I tried to be both a good mom and good employee and for me this was a happy medium.

Salary check. I am currently an in house attorney. 12 YOE. Large company with great coworkers doing regulatory work for the insurance industry. Good work life balance. I live in a high COL city. Out of curiosity and to test the market, I interviewed at a FAANG. Did not get the job, but found out TC was 350k, significantly higher than my TC 230k. I thought I was compensated fairly, but would love to see your thoughts.
