How far are we from AI assistants that can actually execute tasks for you, like scheduling meetings, doing menial tasks in the background, etc? I’d rather AI focus on that rather than the thinking/art tasks that are being developed now. I’d rather AI take the mindless tasks that waste time rather than the creative tasks that actually make us human.

Does anyone work in an area with lots of exterior environmental noise (traffic, concerts, trains, etc.) and have tips for not becoming overwhelmed and/or distracted by it? I’m finding that environmental noise has increased near my office now that tourism has picked back up in my city, and I’m struggling to block it out. I’ve tried earplugs but the noises tend to vibrate my office building so the earplugs don’t work well as an entire block.

I have been a .Net backend dev for the past 6 years now with good enough exposure and experience in flutter and python. I was just wondering is it worth it to learn Xamarin now?
I recently read somewhere that even Microsoft has deprecated Xamarin.
Was just wondering if it would add an advantage to my learning and resume?

So I am working as a UI UX designer since Jan22. I started with a really good project (everything from the scratch) with research, knowing the user etc. The project went really well. It was my first project that I handled individually. I got another project it also went well. Then I was told to work directly with a client, it's been 2 months already we work late hours and also on weekend (asked by the client). It feels like my personal life is gone. Do you think I should change job?

I’m a UX designer with 2 YOE in a design agency currently at 12.5LPA. I’ve recently landed an offer at a startup for 16.5 LPA + 2L esops with 2yr cliff period for a senior UX design role. I want to know if it’s worth to make the switch or wait some more?

PS: This was my first interview in the switching process so I’m not sure if I could have landed better offers or if this is the best I could get.

Within it, people are starting to kind of form their own subgroups (like based on office location or country-specific ethnicity). CTS : No clarity as of now, only thing I am aware is that I’m a part of full stack community.
HCL : Some clarity on the project but less package than other two.
