Honesty no. I work hard and do a good job, but I was below charge hour targets, which I suspect is largely what you’re getting at. I got the rating because yes I do a great job with my client service work, but I also do lots for the firm like leading trainings, leading one of our internal employee networks, going into the office regularly, attending events and building relationships, going out of my way to develop staff, and I do all of that because I personally enjoy it not because anyone is telling me I have to.

Earlier in my career I killed myself and let work come at the expense of my overall happiness and mental health, and that was not sustainable. I hit my breaking point so made a change. Now I unapologetically maintain boundaries and a full personal life, and with respect to work, do what interests me and to the extent I find it stimulating and enjoyable, and because I want to be there and want to do the different things I do, I naturally give it my best and do a great job.

From 15th November will TCS employee need to report to "ODC Location"? If their "base location" and "ODC Location" is different; will they get deputation benefits i.e. "air ticket, tata quarter, deputation allowance"? Hi fishes,

Today I got an email from TCS to complete an ibegin registration. Whenever I login, it is asking me to enter PAN details and mail ID. If I give, it is giving a warning that my account is already present in ibegin and telling me to login with another email ID. As if I remember, one of the consultancy, used my PAN to register in ibegin but I’m unable to login since it is registered by their mail ID and my PAN.

Tax senior with CPA at small firm. Best way to get to Big 4 audit? (LA or OC) Went to non-target so little to no alumni at B4. I don’t mind the switch to a lower title since audit was always my preference and was never a fan of tax (stayed local for family).

Is CMA worth getting after getting the CPA? Or is it better to get the CFA. Also don’t have much finance background so I don’t know if I can pass the CFA will require a lot of hard work. Interesting in hearing people’s thoughts.

I have no plans in leaving PA anytime soon but I figure maybe I should look into another certification that holds value and makes me more marketable compared to my peers. Appreciate any thoughts and advice.

- Also considering going to a t14 MBA in future.
