I'm a brand new attorney (passed the Feb 2021 bar) who started an in-house counsel position a few months ago (where my focus is negotiating agreements for the sale of my company's software). I was a contracts manager on an in-house team for 4 years prior, which is why I was able to go straight in-house. I'm entirely skipping out on firm life, which feels both good and bad. I’m a 9th year in a mostly litigation-based practice group at a one-tier partnership firm. My group’s billable hours have been low the last few years, so making partner will be nearly impossible, and a counsel position is not viable long-term in my group. What’s the best option here if partnership is the ultimate goal? Try to get a NEP/counsel position at another firm, which is likely difficult in my market, or offer to take a class cut by a few years?

Have you thought about why PM interview experience is totally different than the actual PM job ? PM interview goes typically with current domain, design xyz for abc, guesstimate; whereas in actual job you have ‘n’ no. of constraints to build, leadership priority , sufficient time to think etc. What are your thoughts?

I recently got shortlisted for a Product Manager position at Tracxn. There’s also an IPO coming up which is the reason I had applied.
But I have read some horrifying reviews about the company on Glassdoor, indeed and other forums.

I’m wondering whether it’s worth going through the interview process and I’d also like to hear opinions from anyone who has worked with the company or is aware of the company culture.

Beware a company called apnaklub currently hiring across functions. They are knockoff udaan with zero ideas who somehow managed to get some funding. They will do interviews for 1 month+ and then ghost you totally wasting your time.
