How long did you hold onto your college textbooks? I graduated in 2017 and still have all of mine. I haven't opened them since graduating but they were so expensive, it's hard to say goodbye.

It is not hard to say goodbye to a textbook. Get rid of them.

I graduated in 2006 and still have my tax and intermediate books. How many times have I looked in them? Maybe once in 2007. Don't be like me.

like

Should have sold them after the semester ended while you could. My accounting books were bought back for like, idk, $125-$150?

I graduated in 2014 and my textbooks are still on my bookshelves...

funny

The day after I graduated.

Throw them away.

I held onto them for a few years. I have ditched most of them at this point.

I bought them used on Amazon for each semester and sold them back to Amazon the day I got my final grade for each class for an Amazon gift card then rolled it into the next class's books. There's zero reason to keep them.

I joined EY in January. Had no work all of January, but was busy for February and some of March. I have been unassigned for about 4 weeks now, sending availability emails to all of the service lines we are allowed to reach out to for work. I should not have come here 🤦🏼‍♂️ I know it’s nice to have some down-time, but when every day is staring at a computer, the days are SO long.
