How long is the HR process for extending offers at your company? I've worked at places where it could take up to a month just to get the paperwork ready, and by then the candidate is already discouraged and looking elsewhere.

Being up front, I work for an organization with a total of 35 employees, so my timeline may be far different from that of a larger corporation. That being said, once we have our second round of interviews, I generally have the name of the candidate to whom the position will be offered within 48 hours. At that point, I make a phone call to the chosen candidate and present the verbal offer with the starting salary. If they accept, I email the formal offer letter the same day and mail rejection letters to the candidates that were not chosen. No one wants to be left hanging, so I strive not to let that happen.

After releasing the job listing, HR isn’t involved until we provide the information for the offer letter - after the person has been given a verbal offer. Once that is signed, it’s about a week for clearances to be done.

I just got a FAANG offer with 290k TC (8 YOE), so I am trying to rent out my place as I need to relocate, but I am not able to find someone to cover my full rent and I am depressed because I am so not investment savvy and I can NEVER EVER accept losing money in ANY SITUATION. Am I being insane?

Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. I went through the entire recruitment process and got selected for IBM ISL. Now I am being told by the HR that they are unable to release offer as there is a hiring freeze.

Within this Surah,Allah SWT speaks about how He is the one that granted the cure, purity, and strength after the backs were about to break. Allah SWT takes us to this point to refine us.
