At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Is this FOMO or is there real opportunity here?

I would really appreciate some suggestions for roles that I should be applying for. I recently started my MBA though I'm still having trouble landing interviews and think I should be applying for different roles than I have been. My MBA concentration is global business, my BS was in management with a minor in professional writing. I've been working in cosmetics mainly on the customer service side, currently senior support for the CS team and have experience doing CS on social media.

Hey guys, need some advice. I was fortunate enough to get the Consortium fellowship at Ross but am also stuck on the CBS waitlist and am still planning to apply to Wharton in R3. Assuming I get into CBS/Wharton, is there that much of a difference between them to forgo scholarship money? Almost 32 years old and feeling stuck. Been in advertising at creative agencies my entire career and wanting to make the pivot to client side marketing but am feeling very under skilled in certain aspects - project management, account management, digital marketing/CRM, data science. Seriously considering going for an MBA to fill those gaps and open doors. Anyone do something similar? Good idea or unnecessary? Am I too old?

So I’m planning on leaving my position before school starts, but the application and interview process has been slow. At this point I’m afraid I won’t find a job until late July. Should I let my school now and let them post my job as an anticipated position? I’d hate for them to have to find someone last minute, but I also want to keep that school as a fall back just in case. Unfortunately, it’s a terrible position and there has not been a lot of interest in it in the past.

I got up and rushed downstairs to find the bus driver.

It was raining outside but I was already running barefoot to the bus stop.

I stood there soaked in my pajamas as the bus approached.

Then, the door opened. The driver got up and shook my hand.

I sat down and started my shift.
