Don’t waste your time. I got a 7 on my first GMAT (680 total) and a 4 on my second (720 total). Still got into an M7 and another great school. I don’t think they care about your IR score as long as you don’t get a 1 or 2 lol

Taking EA. Think it matters more for score
I found these two videos super helpful when I was studying for the GMAT (I’m assuming it’s applicable for the EA). They’re both length but I’ll summarize:
1. https://youtu.be/y_dyMSIAZoY
This is best used for understanding all the different problem types and how to go about solving them. By following along, I was able to identify that I was not interpreting the graphs correctly for specific questions. Maybe you’ll gain similar insights and determine which questions come easier to you.
2. https://youtu.be/LRBl7jO0kac
This video is great for strategizing. You can start the video at the 30 minute mark. The big takeaway is that you can essentially get half of the questions wrong and still get a 4. What does that mean in practice? You should plan to throw away 2-3 questions and use that time to do your best on the remaining questions. Unlike the Q and V sections, IR isn’t adaptive so all questions are weighted equally. You’ll know which questions to skip once you identify which question types you consistently perform poorly on.
Hope this helps. Best of luck
Yes, these are great resources. I believe that if you are good for the quant/verbal section then you are good enough to score high in IR. Once you understood the question types it becomes “easy” (questiona with tables were super easy in my opinion). You might get unlucky if you get 1/2 questions with a difficult graph but apart from that i feel that IR is not so difficult if compared to the other two sections
