Hi Everyone I have joined FIS one month back only, I am just Okay with my current project. I see here everybody is leaving FIS and telling it's not good. I have changed Infosys within 7 months. Now, I don't want to switch this early. Can somebody tell me about the good points, pros in FIS. I really want to change my mindset so that I feel happy here and can give back something to organization.FIS Global
Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

Not to bring you down but should really look into what an attorney actually does

Even so, I’d really recommend trying to get experience and/or talk to people who do that sort of work before committing. Most criminal defendants are guilty and your job will be to try and reduce the chance of the jury seeing that fact beyond a reasonable doubt and/or reducing the sentence/negative outcome for your client. Even if you want to try to pick the “innocent” one in advance- that’s really hard to do. Not that it isn’t great work to do or that you shouldn’t do it, but it’s definitely not just fighting for the little guy who got messed over by the system.

Not from getting into school. It will keep you from getting a job in biglaw, but I figure that's not your goal anyway.
I went to school at 34 and graduated at 37. There are places, like in house, where you'll be more valued. And life experience goes far on the lit side, esp. employment lit.
And I was in biglaw btw, but certain firms def preferred 25 y/os w no experience even when we had equiv grades.
This is very, very needed good for you.
I just wish I didn't care so much about financial security and had the guts to just do it now. I have friends who work(ed) at Disney parks at the restaurants and were totally happy and content. I guess my early life was very financially insecure so it traumatized me a bit.
I'm already doing a lot of volunteering around helping college students at my mostly URM (71%+ black/Hispanic) Alma mater transition into their professional careers but I think there are even more needy people out there than these college students.
