I’m working all day 9-12hrs straight

I used to be doing a solid 9-10 of a 11-12 hour day. Now on a federal project and it’s like maybe 2 in an 8 hour day.

like

Depends on the week, around xmas about 2 or 3, on a normal day between 5-8, on very long day could be solid 12-14 of actual ass in chair work

0.5 hrs may be max..

Are you billing any of those lol

If I’m being completely honest, likely 5-7hrs of real head down work and not being distracted

I recently joined TW some months back and I dont know why I think have made a wrong choice for myself. I am feeling like I am lost. I am not able to fit in in this high expectations environment. I am used to working in a place where we always worked by taking help from others and here it is sort of assumed that we would be knowing everything right from day 1. Also there is no pairing in my project. Any suggestions on what should be done would be welcome.

I recently changed my last name. When my husband and I got married over 20 years ago we talked about what legacy we would leave it children... Would it be in the form of a company, a brand, or what? Recent college grad doing IT audit at a fairly well-established accounting firm (not Big 4, but top 10). College was good but not Ivy League or anything like that. Grades were around 3.4-3.5.

If my goal is to maximize my chances of working for MBB, which of these paths would you personally take?

1.) Stay on current team, try to get promoted as fast as possible

2.) Stay at current firm but try to switch from risk advisory to a management consulting team

3.) Get an MBA

4.) Other?
