He'd probably be able to empathize better than a guy that never went through hair loss

My barberess and I just joked about this, her husband is also a barber but he has no hair and that’s why I trust her with all this hairmeat I got
Lmao hairmeat is killing me. Shakespearean!
Doesn’t matter. He prob does not give a flying rat’s ass whether he himself has hair or not. Just like you wouldn’t judge a plastic surgeon based on how he looks
Costanza, That you?
She’s bald?
Just let it go man, there’s nothing that can really stop it. I can imagine it feels scary to lose your hair and makes everybody feel insecure. But anecdotally I have friends that feel better if they just cut it short and stopped caring. Not much can save you, propecia or some of those drugs might help but they’re only delaying the inevitable and not with significant effect
I have often found that the people who lose their hair are often the people who can pull off the short cut, buzz, or bald the best so life works itself out that way.
There’s no definitive proof that it prolongs that much, hair loss process is already a slow multi year long process for people. There’s evidence that it helps but no long term research to say it’s that it significantly impacts the timeline. It probably helps more if you have aggressive hair loss, if it’s the usual slow burn I don’t think FI asteroids helps that much.
Also there is no long term research on side effects cause people haven’t been taking it long enough to measure the 10 year effects or the 20 etc
Jeff Bezos. Bald and is balling like a mofo
Female here. Some men are very attractive with that bald look. I’d rather have a well groomed bald guy than one with lots of hair that is not well maintained.
I know a man who got a hair transplant but it didn’t really make him look that much better. It was ok.
Agree with OP that you need to get checked for possibly health issues but chances are you’re just losing your hair due to your genetics. Not much you can do about it.
For 10 years I got a haircut from a barber who was completely bald. You’ll be fine as long as he’s a good doctor.
Lol’d thank you
Why don’t you just find a hair loss-specialized dermatologist rather than making assumptions based on their looks?

Dermatologists are who you see for such things. They are the specialists.
I wouldn’t care about a bald derm but I once saw a hair loss specialist who had a very bad hair transplant. That would give me more pause. 🤣
I’ve found that if you’re suffering from alopecia, most derms will give the same advice. You’ll probably learn way more from seeing different hair transplant doctors, or as ZS1 recommended a derm who focuses on hair loss.

I'd like to avoid seeing a "Bosley" kind of a specialist in comparison to an MD. Not sure if those Bosley "specialists" are actually board qualified, or whether they simply trained in hair transplant techniques. That would make the difference. I'm more interesting in first understanding the medical root cause, versus seeking a fix.
Get a hair transplant
I hear you, but wouldn’t be too worried. Millions of men go through this all the time so I doubt there is an underlying health issue. Enjoy your large forehead and move on (I get to say that because I’m also bald 😊)
What age did he lose it? / How long did he keep it?
Bald is beautiful
Maybe it’s a choice. He could have shaved it. Give him a chance. Do you think KPMG hired you for your looks or your skills? Apply it to this situation.
If Bezos is not growing hair none of us are growing hair..let’s just agree on this and life will be better for 50% of men..
