I travel weekly! I live in NC and lead a marketing team in NYC, so I have a creative commute. I do also travel for conferences, speaking engagements, and national events my team is producing.
I work in the consultancy world with a marketing focus - I’m probably travelling~60% of my time, mainly to client site. Regional team, global clients. Lots of clients also travel, but less frequently.

The majority of our marketing team are remote, so the company flies people in to smaller offices for some face-to-face time and training. The next meetup is in LA in May.
Lucky you still get to do that. Most of my team is remote, unless we're attending the same conference we dont see each other
I've never traveled more than 45 minutes for my job, lol. My husband gets to travel all the time and I'm so jealous. It seems like so much fun.
I'll echo senior manager 1 said unless I go somewhere interesting that I can plan a day or two around. I once had to go to Vegas 8 times in a year and that novelty wears off pretty quickly
All marketing travel has stopped since Covid unless it’s to attend an event to set up and help on the booth. Very sad times as used to spend a lot of time with customers and sales colleagues.
I’ve found that in Europe there was a massive drop off, then clients have started increasing co-location demands in the last couple years. Not what it was (at client site every week) but it’s probably back to 2/3rds of the demand for many clients (especially the Nordics, Dutch and Germans).
It used to be at least 50% of my time until covid hit. Now it's maybe 10%, if that. We never phased-out keeping most communication remote.

Travel to clients and different offices. I also work with a lot of media partners so we will do roadshows or work sessions and top to top leadership meetings as well
