There are times where I want to step down from leadership… but I’m a producing manager, so I get the best of both worlds… meeting with clients, growing my book, while leading a team…
There’s worse situations to be in… if my role was only leadership, I wouldn’t have gone for it…
Yeah only leadership seems very draining
I’m looking from the perspective of someone of who wants to be in a managerial role. I aspire to be a manager mainly because I want to provide a leadership style that’s positive and supportive to people. Bring back humanity to the workplace.
Not going to lie, I have been thinking about this a lot lately. My boss works like 80 hours a week and I do not want that for myself. I really value work life balance and spending time with my friends and family.
