2k incl. utilities
~$1.9k
I was pretty fking lucky and found a studio in Lakeshore east for 1200 utilities and internet included during peak covid. total rent increased to 1350 this year and I pay 260 month for parking. I'm moving out of downtown area if it skyrockets my next renewal cuz everywhere is just so expensive
Wowsa! I rent an updated 2 bed, 1 bath unit in Logan Square for $1,750. It is not avail, but shocked to hear what River North studios go for.
Rent has also increased quite a bit in the last year. I would be very surprised if your apartment would still go for $1750 now
river north kinda blows as a neighborhood tbh, you can look just a bit west or north and find a high quality 1BR with utilities and amenities for $1.6k - $1.8k (this seems to be the avg but you can luck out for something even cheaper if you keep looking)
Agree that river north kinda blows to live in but rent prices skyrocketed everywhere this past spring/summer and now you’ll be hard pressed finding many decent 1BRs for less than 1.8k. At least in old town/GC/LP. If you’re willing to live west of the river there’s a lot better deals I’m sure
