I live in Wicker Park and have 12 coffee shops and probably hundreds of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Lots of early 30s people here
Is river north crazy; tell me the truth!
I’m very happy in river north being west of Orleans, north of grand and south of Chicago. Great mix of people and two dog parks in a 5 minute walk. Occasionally get spillover from the bars in the surrounding area but no different than any other neighborhood I’ve been in.
West Loop is only a 20ish minute walk or a quick Uber and prices tend to be cheaper. A lot of workout studios and a brand new lifetime that’s a ten minute walk away
West loop should fit all your needs.
Logan square - a million good places to eat, tons of coffee spots, lots of people out walking on nice days. And you can still find a condo that's affordable (not so much on the SFH)

I have enjoyed Old Town area a lot…plenty of good food places and easy to get to other areas of the city, lower crime, reasonable prices, and easy to get to lake if you like beaches/etc.
This is me, but male and almost 31. Planning my move for next summer. Would be interested to heard where you land. Where are you moving from?
Moving from Atlanta.
