I’m curious as well, but will offer my stats as a point of comparison as a F500 VP in a similar role at a different company. $450K TC (broken down as $260K base + $100K bonus + $90K target equity). 13 YoE.
Thank you. Appreciate the response!
It's the most standard exit you'll get. They hire tons of consultants so they know how to price you. It's a well performing machine in a stable industry. Sweatier than your average F500 but ok by BCG standards, fairly consistent across the business. Not prestigious but definitely respected. Not always the sexiest work but who cares.
Good exit, very low risk, but it won't buy you a yacht.
Oh yeah I’m agreeing with you in terms of it being a great exit, I just wanted to emphasize it may not be as chill as OP is expecting so I’m level setting with them
Think ~$325k base + 125k cash bonus + 100k RSU each year at average performance rating. and likely 6 figure cash sign on over 2 years (was higher when market was hotter, likely lower now). COL adjust will affect base. Great role if you can get it IMO
Accurate
Reference point for senior manager in industry (F500), 3 levels below VP:
- Base 200
- Median Bonus 65k
- Equity/yr 50k
- Total 315k
VP at our company is >$700k, can exceed $1M
Not as much, half maybe?
I’d assume base salary is $250-$300k based on ranges I’ve seen posted for director and senior director (and vp obviously above that) I’m staffed on capital one and they are my all time favorite client. Great company and culture
👀
F
400-600, roughly
The numbers posted by BCG elsewhere are accurate. 600+ is technically possible but unlikely for just a VP, especially a new VP. More common for MVP. Also keep in mind RSUs vest 1/3 per year
Thank you!
$300 - 350 base (can negotiate), bonus (~$200 split between cash and RSUs). Sign ons of up to $400 (can negotiate). Terrible job though, a lot of slide making for execs. They tell you there’ll be business roles to transition into, they are few and far between - a lot of Chief of Staff, and BU strategy roles. Not what it once was.
