Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable

1) LPs are everything as you know. Obsess over them leading up to the loop.
2) Write down ~15 stories in the STAR format
Stories should be around times you failed, you pushed back, you delivered results with less, you took leadership, you made the customer think bigger, you struggled and came back, you said no, you motivated people, etc
3) I think some functional questions may come up
You can never be too prepared! All the best.
Noted! Functional questions on the product the team will be working on?
I found the book “PM interview questions” (by Lewis C Lin) to be super helpful for product questions and then ofc the stories for each leadership principle (LP) are critical. Good luck!

Hello OP could you share your prep plan for this role? I knows been a year but any pointers would help

Go deep into Donne martin system design primer and exponent sys design interviews

Hi there. Is there a place where these concepts are explained in more detail? Exponent is very high level. I feel like it's making me mug up stuff
More like 20 stories so you dont end up repeating any
Coach
The key is to demonstrate many Leadership Principles (LPs) in each story. One other thing - don’t speed through stuff. Help the interviewer take good notes especially when it comes to results.

You absolutely need to do system design interviews if you are going for a L6 TPM
Understood. Finished exponent system design course last night. The design of Uber etc is something I learnt from the course but honestly I am not there yet
Does Amazon pay back any retention/clawback money if they offer you a job?
Subject Expert
Nope. You get a total offer that is typically much higher than consulting pay and that’s about it.
Ask your recruiter. Mine was helping in telling me what to prepare for - 20 LP stories (advice was not to repeat any stories) & technical/functional questions around tools that are essential for the role.
P1 - are you still going through the interview process? What was the outcome / lessons learned?
Anyone has a good LP story on failure in context of strategy? Would it be bad to use a strategy example? I have heard amazon hates the word strategy
Coach
They’re looking for authentic failures and most importantly what you learned and how you improved in the future. Use the STARI method. I for improvement.
Hey OP, I’m also preparing for Amazon TPM interview. Feel free to DM me if you need study partner
