role/product management or software. Only so much I can learn about ADA procedure codes & commercial insurance plans! As we know - most plans cover minimum dental coverage. Many practices have gone few for service as the cost for quality materials are not even close to being covered by insurances

I’m actively applying for roles outside of healthcare now. I’m trying to be optimistic that there is life after healthcare and that future employers will find my skills as a laboratory manager/medical laboratory scientist to be as transferable as I believe they are. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽 I guess technically the roles I’m applying to are healthcare support roles, but we’ll see what happens. I’d love to jump into tech or project management but really have no idea where to start.

I am also constantly browsing for positions outside of the lab. Have you found any particular roles that are open to MLT/MLS candidates? Our critical thinking and analytical skills have to be highly sought but it’s hard to get a foot in the door because no one knows what we do.
