How many of you were direct admits to Partnership? From other consulting firms, or from industry? Was it a lateral move, or a step up/down?

The reason I ask is: I’m a Y3 Director at Big 4, always been a consultant and probably 2 years away from Partner. I have an offer from industry for VP at a F50 company, but am wondering about how difficult it’d be to boomerang back if it doesn’t work out.

How many of you have an MBA in HR. And how important an MBA in HR is to excel in the field of HR. Because I'm pretty mba in Marketing isn't that important to get you a Marketing job.

Joined pro a few months back in TC, I notice that the all the talks of big growth etc. was just talks. Have not had any decent project lined up and been sitting idle for past month. Thoughts on analyst to associate promote in IB?

My remit quadrupled+ in a recent re-org with no increase in pay/promotion, my new director is new to the company and was zero help, and I was passed over for recent promotion during the comp cycle. The new director essentially began shutting me down any time I ask for clarity in my career progression. Now they have taken credit for the project I’ve been building over the past year+ without giving me props whatsoever to higher ups. What is the best plan of action here?

I got an offer for an L5 role at Amazon Web Services and for a senior role from a non-FAANG company. I'm excited to get into management at AWS but have heard a lot of negative things. Not sure what's the best choice.

At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). I had interviewed for Cognizant and I was asked to submit my documents for offer letter release. This happened on the same day as my interview(Friday 6th May). I submitted my documents and I am trying to contact the HR who scheduled my interview, but she is not picking up my call. My question is how soon can I expect the offer letter to be released? And is there a possibility that they can reject my profile at this stage?

Anyone with experience with the snoo and any feedback on it? Have a friend that offered to let me borrow hers, so no cost considerations to think about, but have read that it could cause a flat head/other issues and just curious as to what experiences people have actually had with it. Thanks!

I joined CG on 27th July, the first project require me to work on documentation not related to my tech(networking) this I said no and went on bench.
The second project/client they tagged asking me to wrok on FTP L1 Monitoring and t-shoot.
Again this is not relevant to my exp(6 years in Network).
