How much do you tip?
Chief
15/20% depending on the service. But also scaled down a lot the bs tipping. Lost the shame of not tipping if there was no service provided
15% for average. 20% for good. They don’t like it? Give it back
Standard 20% unless the service is abysmal. I've never gotten any sort of feedback from waiters. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you..
At a restaurant, I will tip around 15 to 20%. At a fast casual, $1.50
18 %
I tip 20% unless the service was horrible. Also depends on where I’m at. If it’s a dive bar and I’m just getting beer- $1-2 a drink. But if I’m at a higher end place and it’s a shaken cocktail, then more. But if people are willingly telling you that you aren’t tipping well, then I would take that to heart. I worked in the bar industry for about a decade before I got into consulting and they put up with a lot and it takes a lot for them to tell you that you’re not tipping enough
They want all your money…but with 18%-25%, you should be ok.

Everywhere i go has auto grat 20%
or we can be like other developed countries and not have tipping, let alone for poor service. Why does the waiter get the tip when it's the line cooks that actually add the value- give me option to directly tip the kitchen
