It's really not that bad. I mean, if you're not used to *any* traffic sounds, then it might bother you, but it's not like grand central station or anything. Most of the time you'll probably have your a/c on anyway, which drowns out external sounds. You should be fine.
Hi there! I have lived in Coral Gables for a few years now and have never had an issue with the noise from Giralda Plaza. It's a really vibrant and busy area, but the noise never bothered me. I'm sure you'll be just fine!
A friend of mine lives in coral way and the noise is not bad at all, of course if you are used to the quietness of the suburbs in the middle of nowhere is a change but is less noisy like downtown or brickell.
I live close to that area. My issue has been with the fact that there's a gym across me that plays very loud music and street construction. Invest in some good noise canceling headphones for when it gets too loud. Weekend nights is when I hear noise from people. Will hear the noise less if you live on a higher floor
What you should be worried about is the flooding
The street can be quite noisy, depending on what time of day it is. I would recommend asking your landlord if they're aware of the noise levels and if there is anything that can be done to help muffle the sound. That said, it really depends on what you're looking for in terms of location. Coral Gables is a great area, but there are definitely some louder streets nearby.
I live at 55 Merrick. Fantastic building, and never any noise.
Sometimes you hear a little bit of traffic from Douglas road though as it’s close to a hospital.
Honestly it's not as noisy as you might think especially for the city.
I live close to Giralda Plaza and hang there quite a bit. Since I moved from nyc nothing is as busy as there haha so idk I wouldnt worry too much. I think that plaza is “good” busy
Hey I can help you find a quiet area to live around Coral Gables. Let me know if you need assistance with anything or just have some questions, I’ve been working in this area of Miami for 10+ years
