How much raise should one expect when promoted from SE-II to SE-III in Walmart? And how much time it takes to reach the promotion?

I am an associate hairstylist and on Sunday me and a group of associates will be discussing a pay raise with our boss. Even though we work over full time and have licensing and excel in our careers we’re making bellow poverty wages. The goal is to get our hourly pay up to $15/hour since it’s currently at $9/hour. I have pulled up research on inflation ratings and compiled them neatly into a slide show. What would you recommend I do? I’m also getting job offers matching $15/hour, the market value

Just wondering - Do coaches have to pay from their pockets for promoting their coachee? My coach sounds soo negative irrespective of my Manager supporting the promotion decision. A HR question I really want to understand. ISRS HR quoted a podcast "The not so great resignation" saying 70% regret leaving and many want to go back to old employer. If this really the case the employee likely left due to higher pay at the new company. If they want to boomerang back they will likely come back at even a higher rate than they left the new company for. So getting double raise when they boomeranged. Isn't it unbeneficial, why not just give employee a 7% raise in the first place?
