Looking for a used AWD SUV ~$20k price point, what would you recommend? Ideally 2012 or later with under 100k miles. Reliability and low lifetime maintenance costs are number 1 priority. Plan would be to run it into the ground eventually, not resell. Third row seating is a plus but not a requirement. Live in Colorado.

Depends on what category of SUV you are looking for, but I just bought a 2017 Mazda CX-5 for my daughter for around $25,000. It has less than 50,000 miles on it. You can get the lower trims for around the price point you were looking for, or you can go a bit older.

In addition to the Mazda, we also looked at the Volkswagen Tiguan which has an optional third row, though my daughter did not want to third row. As I’m sure you know, the used car market is insane right now in terms of pricing. We bought my son a used sedan last year and it has gone up in value by probably 35 or 40%.

My family only buys those same brands.

Highlander, rx 350 or the mdx are your best bets.

Thr rx350 is a very smooth ride but if you want 3rd row Highlander than mdx for reliability and value

Yea, just go for a crv

So squirrels decided to eat my engine harness (thanks Honda for your eco friendly wiring).
I got it fixed but the acceleration still feels sluggish even when slamming the acceleration on sport mode. It’s a 2017 Honda Civic turbo and used to have a pretty fun acceleration. Any ideas what could be the culprit or where to look? Things like bad ECU/ messed up turbo/ air leak?

Looking to get an Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti sometime this year. Brand new the MSRP is about 45K and despite the reputation of the old Alfa Romeo’s from the 90’s these seem to be night and day more reliable. Would you recommend buying new, leasing new, or buying used? If I bought used it would be anywhere from 2019-2021

Hi y'all! Looking for thoughts on if this a good deal?

Toyota Camry hybrid for 23k with less than 50k miles on it. 2016 model.

What things *can you negotiate when purchasing a new car? What things *should you negotiate always? Any differences in negotiation approach when buying used? Seems like I can afford considerably less, given the current interest rates 😭 Currently financing a car at 1.9% and it's killing me to buy, but I've had nothing but issues with the used car I bought.

Any experience / recommendations for extended car warranty companies? I have a Volvo XC40 still under factory warranty with an engine issue that isn’t easily resolved. Making me worry about being without a warranty in the future.

My lease is up in the coming months on my current vehicle. Wanting to upgrade to a Tesla Model 3. Will be able to put down around $10,000 down payment(don’t have enough saved to pay for it all in cash, and need a vehicle). Don’t really want to lease and thinking I want to buy new, but would be interested in hearing about people’s thoughts on buying used? Or other thoughts around the needing a vehicle but not having enough to buy it all in cash?
