Additional Posts in Salary Negotiations
Hi there! Interviewing w/Amazon for a non-tech role (Associate Category Manager aka Associate Buyer) and was asked what my salary requirements are for base+bonus+equity. Can anyone share insight on what Amazonians make in this role. I have 4 YOE and glassdoor is not very helpful.
Any feedback is appreciated 🙏 Amazon

As a recruiter who has been on this end of it - do what makes you happy. You have no commitment to the offer you accepted (technically) so if you get a shorter commute and more money, yeah you might burn a bridge or make some people mad but they’re not paying your bills, they’re not on your commute or worried about your own mental health. Do what makes you happy.
The recruiter will be upset until they realize they would do the exact same thing.
Whatever you decide, make sure you're happy with your choice. A longer commute and less than you asked for means "keep your options open." I would stick with what you have until you find something that at least meets your expectations/worth. All the best to you :)
I would still gather offers; you have nothing to lose. I wouldn't want to have a longer commute because I hate driving. It doesn't hurt to see what other offers you get.
