I am a 6 yr atty. Work at a 20+ atty law firm in a small town in the south. I am having trouble billing 6-7 hrs /day. On average I’m probably getting at 5-6. It’s not for a lack of work ethic or opportunity. I’m at work 10 hrs a day despite having young children. Im no stranger to practice as I have 6 yrs experience at other firms. I ask for work from partners.
What tips do you have for me to maximize my billing practices? I don’t mean cooking my billing but short of that? Tips? Help

Hello I just started my first job (I’m 22) and I need to set up a 401k for matching with my company. I’m really confused how this works because I want to try to hit the IRS maximum of $19,500 for Roth contributions this year. Maybe it’s too late in the year now, but it’s asking me to pick my desired contribution % per pay period, but I’m not sure how much to do because it says it’ll kick in 1-2 pay cycles and I don’t even know when the next pay check comes yet. Any tips would be great
