What are the roles you have been thinking about? Further leadership? Leadership in another state? Corporate? Training? Your options are fortunately wide open as a supervisor.
Move to underwriting
I was just coming here to say this as well. I would definitely network and try to get someone to refer you for the role though because it can be hard to get a role in underwriting sometimes depending on the company.
I’m kind of in the same boat. I’ve been working Marine Cat claims for 8 years now. I was promoted to an Admin this last season. I would love to get out if adjusting and do something different. Any suggestions?
Are you in auto or property?
You can try property, unless you’re trying to get out of claims. A lot of auto folks are moving to property lately because of growth opportunities there.
Give more details. What claims? What state? Are you near corp? Can you wfh?

Look at your skill set, not your title or what your function is. How does that skill set translate to other jobs both with your carrier and externally
