Absolutely, it feels like it's getting worse every year. Companies are cutting back which means more layoffs and smaller/no more bonuses or financial incentives. Employees feel like they are not being appreciated which is making them rethink their jobs and/or careers. That coupled with unrealistic expectations from managers leads to imposter syndrome and feeling jaded. Not sure what to say for advice because I don't know if it will get better or worse.
I have been seeing this alot since Covid and return to office. It seems like my team had more motivation in them when we were working from home and now that we have returned to office they have no motivation at all. I have not yet found a good way to combat this.
