Hello All, I’m a project manager but seeking to pivot into UX Research. I do have some experience but don’t have a portfolio yet. Can anyone advise if I should focus on going through a bootcamp or focus on getting a Masters in HCI? Or just building a portfolio with the experience I do have? There are very few entry-level roles and many places are only hiring “Sr UXR” with 3-5+ years of experience! Any tips on how to break into this field and/or stand out as a junior applicant?? Thanks!

Folks, one doubt..... I was hired as a senior consultant in dec 2021. I did not nominated for grade change till now. Will they automatically consider me for grade change or do I have to expicitely talk about it with PC ? Also if grade is changed, how is the impact on salary considering the parity check ? I recently joined TW some months back and I dont know why I think have made a wrong choice for myself. I am feeling like I am lost. I am not able to fit in in this high expectations environment.
