Today I (a senior female associate) got treated by a junior male associate like I was his secretary when simply following up with him and asking him to do a job assigned to him by a partner.

Let’s just say that he will soon find out he got the right one on the wrong day. ;) Carrying this energy into the rest of 2025.

I feel like that’s its own list! At least there’s a chance, however slight, that someone will take that associate in hand and whip him into shape (yes, I recognize the irony of the savior complex rearing its head here). With UMPs, they’re already entrenched in the “you can’t make me” attitude. There’s not enough savior energy in the world to rescue a UMP.
