Hi there!
I coordinate influencer marketing for several clients at a digital marketing agency and therefore I don’t have enough time to get too personal when rejecting influencers for a collaboration. I usually write something along the lines of…
“Thank you for your interest in collaborating with (name of client). After reviewing your current profile as a whole (you can also point to more specific issues such as media rates, engagement, or analytics), (name of client) has decided to not pursue a paid partnership at this time. We will be sure to keep your profile for our records should (name of client) be able to meet your needs in the future. Thanks again for your time and consideration!”
