Recently I got an offer from Deloitte. The offer value they told is different and the value they projected in the offer letter is different. Does anyone had a similar experience. How does the variable pay and the hike cycle works in Deloitte? Please help me understand Deloitte USI Big 4

That's hard for even you to live with in London, forget sending anything back.
You will need to spend additionally from your own pocket even post getting salary
Which company was offering you the offer?
British Telecom
BT usually lowballs. But this is too low if the location is London.
To survive in London you should be looking for GBP 60k at the very least. If you want to save and send back to India, do your own math. Even if you stay a little outside of London, like Maidenhead, Slough, etc. this salary will not suffice.
If the location is far in the north - such as Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool or is in Northern Ireland, then you can think of it as an average salary.
For London, it’s way less than the average.
very misleading saying ‘you need atleast 60k to survive in London’
Have you lost your mind?
BT...Bhikari Telecom - would avoid or switch once in UK
