Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

This shouldn't even be a question. There is no such thing as long-term loyalty in the current era. Companies have no loyalty to workers, and they make sure everyone knows it. So there's no need to feel loyalty to a company. You should just take the huge pay bump and demonstrate loyalty to yourself.
60% pay bump in one job switch? That's practically unheard of. You should absolutely take that. i'm also confused how this is a question, and frankly a little jealous. Congrats to you though!
You’ve already shown loyalty, and five years is a solid run. If they’re not meeting you halfway on pay, that’s on them. A 60% bump with similar perks isn’t just about the money at this point, it’s about being valued. I’d take the leap.
I personally would prioritize the financial opportunity over loyalty, but I think the answer really depends on what you value the most

Take the money. Small companies can be much more rewarding. Loyalty is a thing of the past.
How is this even a question? Is this engagement bait?
I know being in your comfort zone feels safe but it would be crazy for you to not take the offer.
If the company is in a situation where they need to let people go, they will not think twice about letting you go.
