Hi everyone, I have 2 years of experience in a service based industry as a Java developer, and I am eager to work hard and switch to a reputed product based organisation, but I am not getting proper time to study and practice data structures and algorithms, as I have so much to learn and understand things which are related to my project. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I'll try to inculcate it. Thanks in advance! Amazon Oracle Samsung Microsoft Cisco Salesforce Arcesium Uber

Accenture Hello, this past December I applied to a Devops role at Accenture. I didn’t get the position but I looked on their website and noticed they have an software engineer apprenticeship. I emailed the recruiter about the apprenticeship but she didn’t get back to be. But after telling me I didn’t get the position she did say to wait six months to apply for another position. I really think I would be a good fit for the apprenticeship. What can anyone recommend? Can I possibly get a referral.

Yeah try an internal transfer. You might need a current PM leader to sponsor you but they would probably rather hire internally if you already know company and culture.
Also, if you do get a CS degree, you should aspire to be a swe. More $$$$ early on and easy switch to PM later on
I doubt that would really blow away a recruiter. I think nothing beats a good resume with tangible experiences! I'd put my efforts into buildup your skillsets and experiences
Imo, it would help. Why not try and move to a product role at Salesforce?
Tried, and it wasn’t easy from the dept I was originally in
UPenn has a good program for those interested in an online C.S. Masters who don’t have a coding background. Been considering it myself to break into PM (being a SWE doesn’t sound appealing tbh).

Thanks for the idea G1! Tbh I haven’t explored many paths yet and am just in the earl stages. But honestly this is a really good idea!
Yeah. It seems a lot more useful (and versatile) in the tech world. I would go for it if you have the opportunity.
A CS degree doesn't make a whole lot of sense for project management. It will literally teach you nothing about your job.
Product management =/= project management
My brother is thinking of doing it and it will improve him a lot
