I had a dream job interview over the past two days. The role is exactly what I’ve been looking for, and it’s with a PEO. I spent over an hour in a panel interview, completed the assessments, and now I’ve received an email saying the General Counsel wants to meet with me again to discuss my experiences.

Is that normal? Should I be worried? I thought my final interview already covered that.

Is it wrong that I’m just not into PE/VC? It seems to be the most desirable exit for most people that I work with. The work seems like it’s not a good fit for me but it feels crazy to pass up trying to get that amount of money when there really isn’t a realistic alternative to that amount of wealth (and I do want that amount of wealth).

Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. What can I do? Is it that just your IT work ex they consider? Suggest things I could do. Completed 8 months in Accenture now as SAP Functional consultant.

I have my annual review coming up and want to hear thoughts on what a reasonable raise expectation is. I report to the COO and currently make $94k + up to 10% annual bonus based on company hitting their revenue goal + I have 3000 stock options. I have 3 YOE in customer success but pivoted to a non technical program manager role at a series c tech startup last September. I have been getting consistently positive feedback at quarterly reviews. What raise should I aim for?

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

I’m a little worried that going from plaintiff side to in house maybe difficult…I also have BL and clerkship experience so maybe it’s all in my head but any insights would be helpful.

I’ve been here in the states for over 10 years and looking back I am amazed by how I survived corporate America and how tolerant my colleagues have been towards me. Nevertheless, it’s hard to escape from imposter syndrome. I also caught myself rationalizing my slightly lower-than-market comp with my language skills. Any thought or advice?
