How soon did you tell your office you are pregnant? When is the best time?

Don't even care that I am going to be waking up at ungodly hours and that i'll be running a project for my least favorite client... because I'll be in Chicago baby!

I'm a first year analyst and a little fearful of the travel schedule I'll have to adopt in the coming months. From those more seasoned than myself... what are some tips or best practices to deal with the travel?

When you are staff and your seniors review everything you do, change a tiny bit, and take as if they did it to present to others, feels like a surrogate mother.

Do you think an MBA or MSC is worth the investment for people in tech looking to get to Director/C-Suite positions in their career?

The hostility on my team is rough. We have a yeller. I walked by her room the other day. She was screaming across the room at a student, "you have to be kind to get kindness." Seriously, those were her words in a loud, berating, angry tone. Our admin has asked that we not report these. We are to talk to the teacher. She has yelled at me and other adults. Admin has to know she treats the kids this way too. One teacher has to work with her door closed to not hear the yelling all day.

I've been in real estate title insurance for 15ish years, but just finished my BS in accounting, because I realized if I'm going to have a desk job, I'd rather have the opportunity to make more money and not grow old with a magnifying glass and a dusty old plat map. Plus, I like accounting better. Any tips from anybody else who made the switch to accounting later in life? Do my prior career soft skills give me as much as a boost as I hope they do? I am a experienced manager in transaction advisory services (financial due diligence), thing about going to industry but I am also wondering if staying in the firm till senior manager or director will get a better exit opportunity.
