I had a few interviews recently and was thinking that we often talk about interview red flags, but what are the green flags? as a candidate, what makes you think, “This is a place I want to work”? What signals a strong manager, healthy culture, or good legal team?Have you ever accepted a role because of something positive you noticed during the interview process?Curious to hear what stands out most to people.

Absence of couching and avoidance on questions, willingness to share actual numbers, willingness to respond to follow ups and give thoughtful answers. Let people answer open-ended questions about the firm, and look for trends in their answers. You have to put in the work to get the info.

But I'll be honest, I've worked at three firms and the differences have been subtle. The EXPERIENCE is night and day, but the DIFFERENCES are subtle. That's culture for you.
