What do you think when you see someone’s calendar and it’s packed wall to wall for days on end or for weeks out? Multiple overlapping appointments and invites from early AM to after 6pm. Are these people really that busy and, when it’s someone on your career/promotion track, is this what I have to look forward to?? How do you get anything done?

I have worked in consulting for three years, worked in industry for 3 years prior to that, and have an MBA. I have the opportunity to move to a top 4 firm. What should I ask for in regards to potential promotion and/or salary bump? I don’t want to short change myself as this would be a promotion year for me at my current firm, however I find this conversations so uncomfortable. I currently make 90k base, and think I am underpaid as I am consistently put into stretch roles. Thanks for reading!
