I wouldn’t have pulled out. I was interviewing last week with strep throat and a fever and ready to hit the floor running if i was chosen for the position. Holiday, weekend whatever. If you are still looking I can send my resume and we can get the ball rolling. Why wait for next month for what you can accomplish today. ,
I wouldn’t have pulled out as the candidate. That’s odd. I know things slow down a lot, but it seems like a good way to get passed over.

December almost always slows momentum. Hopefully the candidates who pause now will re-engage quickly in the new year if the experience was respectful and well paced.
Absolutely, clients aren’t even holding interviews for the rest of the year so I’m trying to cue up candidates for early January and still get their CVs in front of clients.
Wish I even had the oppurtunity to work. I agree sounds like they didn't want a job very badly. I myself am looking for stability and long term but require accommodations for a sit-down job as I cannot stand for wronged periods or walk distances so I must sit but I need a job without sounding too desperate. Been waiting for disability for past 3yrs and it was denied, now returning to working Field with what I can do!! Any suggestions if you have read this far??

I wouldn't reconsider them next year is basically 2 weeks away. After the process whoever was selected wouldn't even probably start till next year anyway. People dont think things through.
I'm currently paused with hiring but we are fully staffed.
