There are rumors that 3/2 is coming back since we're losing so many people. No idea when that's meant to happen. Even our immediate supervisors don't like it. It's all being pushed by the CEO. He wanted us in office 5 days originally.
Music to my ears! I’m hoping this is true!
Managers were told if their candidate is a good hire they can offer the hybrid as a selling feature to secure the position so if it’s important to you then you need to negotiate it. If you need the job over flexibility and just want to work at Chubb it’s 5 day RTO with the ability to have one day at home with your manager’s approval. Sadly the PTO days counting as in office days isn’t consistent throughout the company and or claims departments
I recently did a phone interview with Chubb in Claims - I was informed it was a 3/2 schedule with 3 days in office - living over 50 miles from closest office is a no go for me!
Right now for most departments it’s 4 days in the office. If you have PTO or holiday during the week they count that as work from home so you need to be in the rest of the week. At least in my department of claims it’s pretty strict. Managers get questioned when people are not in 4 days a week. I was hired when it was 3/2 hybrid and they changed it this year
If the answer isn’t clear yet be prepared for four days I. Office!
Chubb is no longer offering g company cars for outside field staff. At least in risk consulting. You have to prove you drive enough to warrant a company car. Also, they are no longer paying for internet. In IL and CA, they have to offer a per diem which is $2 per work day. When interviewing be sure to inquire about all the amenities. Chubb is looking to remain profitable and part of that is through expense management
Any changes? any full time remote? I have an interview Thursday. Claims position.
