I have been applying to 3 jobs a day since January and I've only had one interview... Sadly that job was a scam so I don't know if you count it, but what else can I do? I have my own health insurance, I don't want your 401k Match because I can't afford to start a retirement. My paycheck shouldn't be 70% rent and 30% bills.
At this point why keep trying?

Make a system to apply quick to many jobs I use a template for a cover letter that allows me to change 2 things on each application by doing this I'm able to apply for 20 30 jobs a day I've been job hunting for about 6 months now on 3 months in I landed a position work from home commission only and I repeated this process about a month ago and landed a full-time salary position starting in the middle of this month each time it took about a week or a week and a half of applying to 20 to 30 jobs a day I guess in summary what I'm saying is you're not doing anything wrong just do it more up apply to more jobs per day ai is changing the landscape of hiring have AI rework your resume and cover letter tell the AI to make it more impactful and able to pass AI screening. I did these things and increased from 4 or 5 jobs a day to 20 or 30 and had drastically better results

Job hunting in 2025 is disheartening to say the least. You pour in so much effort and wind up with nothing to show for it. It's depressing, but unless you've got a trust fund to fall back on (I don't), necessity is the reason to keep trying.

In 2025 I might suggest that walking in to places would show a lot of gumption and make you stand out among the 100+ applicants who just apply online

I would be hitting about at least 10 a day

I was supposed to have my second interview at Raytheon Technologies Corporation. I got an email three min before saying that they had a surprise fire drill and they had to evacuate the building and they needed to reschedule for next week. Do I need to to wait for them to reach back out or can touch base with them tomorrow? I don’t want to be obnoxious. 😅
