I have FAR, AUD, and BEC left and have a few months to study full-time. Based on the general ideal order, I would take FAR, AUD, then BEC. But if I wanted to get my scores sooner for each (compared to waiting a month), I would take AUD and BEC first then FAR last. Should I base the order of my exams on how soon I would get scores? Or just take it in the suggested order?

DO NOT TAKE FAR LAST. coming from someone who left it for last, failed the first time, & had to pass in a time crunch. It's doable but very stressful. I wouldn't leave the most difficult one for last imo. Take it first in case you fail. Don't base the exam order on results timing, that's irrelevant

Omg literally same. I have 4 months though 😅😅 and I’m not full time studying…🥲

like

Same I have 4 months left for FAR & REG FML 🫠🥲

FAR, AUD, BEC. I did them a few months ago and it was brutal but I did them successfully in 2 months.

like

But I studied for FAR for ~ 2 months leading up to the exam.

It's tricky to take FAR last, IMO. There's so much info. I would want to get all of that info learned first because you might feel fatigued after 2 other exams.

AUD is also a lot of info and might be comparable to FAR. I think either way, you'd be fine. Just gotta pick something and stick to it.

I think this depends on the individual, AUD was by far the easiest one for me and the hardest one after FAR was BEC. General Wisdom is that you start with FAR as the biggest one and then leave your strongest subject for last.

Do FAR before those. I’m in tax as well and def wish I did FAR before AUD (failed by a point)

Please don't take FAR last! It is the most time consuming and if u can knock that out you will be fine for the others.

Ugh I wanted to take my son to see a UFC match in person. Just so happens there is one in November at Madison Square Garden - great right! I knew the tickets would be expensive, was willing to pay $400 to $500 a ticket as long as they were decent. The cheapest ticket in the whole arena, basically top row so you can’t see crap, is $506 before you start with the fees!!! Am I wrong or is that just bananas???? Oh well, pay per view it is, maybe have some friends over. Just complaining… happy Friday!

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. Is this normal in the entertainment world? Any suggestions?

California peeps. I have a feeling I failed FAR, which is my last exam, but my score isn’t released until May 11. Can I submit the reapplication with the CA Board of Accountancy to speed up the retake and NTS process in case I failed? Or do I need to get my exam score first? I need to pass by mid June, else my REG score expires, hence the rush to resubmit the re-application.

If I am reading this correctly, this is the perfect time to be taking the CPA exam. You basically have 2-3 years to get through all the exams. Am I reading that right?

In a world full of internet trolls, it was so refreshing to be on this thread while we all cheered for each other and pushed each other to climb over our failures and discouragements. Thank you for all who have posted helpful comments, asked poignant questions and left their encouragement! If I can pass, you will pass! Best of luck everyone!
