I have given interview on 11 may on 12 may hr called me told that 1st round is cleared,told me to upload documents on workday portal after that on 14 may the position i interviewed for goes into inactive and it's showing no longer under consideration. What should be done in this case? Support team is saying that position is closed. They are remapping my profile. Should I wait or try for other companies???

2020 grad M&A/PE Associate in LCOL area thinking about moving to a ECVC/M&A boutique. I generally like the work I do and the people I work with, but I really don’t like the hours and the constant late nights and weekends. Currently on pace for 2250. Boutique I have been eyeing has billable hour requirement of 1500-1600 and comes with a 20-25% paycut. Is this a stupid idea and should I grind it out until I can move in house? Will this ruin my opportunities down the road?

What is the salary range for lateral entry employees who has 8 + years of experience? Role is level 9 and Technology stack is pega.

How do you get experience when no one will hire you? I wouldn’t mind hanging a shingle but I feel it’d be irresponsible to do so with no experience. Unlike all of my classmates, I never landed an internship/externship in law school - had only one interview. I was a PT law student, came from a CS background, and worked in IT throughout law school. I passed the bar exam on my first try (Oct 2020) and have only had a couple interviews out of the hundreds of applications I sent out. Any suggestions?
