Bain & Company Is it truly easier to get in a smaller MBB office?
Have heard a lot for different opinions on these. The logic is that it’s easier because there is a lot of supply in cities like NY, Chicago and SF, but the counter argument is that the offices with less supply are also way smaller and have a lot less demand.

Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

I dunno - our knowledge specialists folks are really far removed from client work. I would think it better to try the transition to a better brand of TC
Good advice. I am also looking at that.

You have all the information you need, OP. Don't do it
Well it depends on what you value more. Sounds like you want to be client facing role though. Do you think you will be happy with non client facing role? (But yea I’d take the offer. You can always come back)
If I get an offer that's more than I make now, I should take it right? Even if my client facing time is low to none? Would this still look good since it has the MBB brand?
I am Pre MBA if I got my MBA (At a top 20 school) would I likely have enough interaction with partners to network into the firm once I get an MBA? Or is that not something they do?
I don't think that would give you as much of an edge as you anticipate. They don't know you from a consulting standpoint, only from knowledge management, which is back office
Told it's a client facing team with 40 to 70% travel in startup mode. Only 2 members so far. It falls under Vector.
If you get an offer, DM me. Happy to get another perspective from some friends who work internally.
