McKinsey & Company I received an offer from McKinsey & Company in 2021 and I’ll be starting later this year after graduation. Obviously because of the pandemic, inflation is slowly trending upwards. Has anyone asked for a base salary increase before even starting the job? Any advice on how to approach this?

I have a former colleague who worked for an ID firm and then went in house at a Healthcare company. Also lots of ID firms do Healthcare related cases, whether it's employment, professional liability, etc. Municipal liability cases can also intersect because you have a lot 3rd party medical contractors working for cities/counties in the jails. See if there's any of that type of work being done in your firm and if not, try to find another ID firm that does. ID is a great way to get experience and build marketable skills, so don't lose hope or consider it a waste. You can find a way to pivot.
I don’t have an answer to your question. I did the same thing and have been trying to claw my way out of the ID space, but it’s been so hard. I feel your struggle. You are not alone ❤️
