How is everyone staying motivated at work while going through fertility treatments? On days when I have appts or get my period, all I want to do is google and read forums about it. My utilization is tanking (not because I’m blowing off work, but because I need to find and take on new work) but can’t get the energy to). I’ve told my manager about what I’m going through and she is supportive, but feeling guilty when I hear about how busy everyone around me is and I just can’t find the motivation.

PTO Dilemma: I have over 100 hours of PTO remaining from hours carried over from last year that must be used before 12/31. I scheduled out days to use the hours. However, when I put my scheduled PTO in the Utilization Tracker, and include the Thanksgiving holiday and the Collective Disconnect days, I end up below my utilization target. How is that possible? Is it me or is there really something wrong with how utilization is calculated?-

Have any respiratory therapists found jobs OTHER than being a clinical RT? I want to possibly change careers, but I am finding that a lot of jobs (clinical liason, utilization review, etc) want you to have a nursing degree, not a respiratory degree. I feel like as an RT we are limited to jobs.

My current utilization is 105% , and planning to take leave from 12 Dec to 23 Dec i.e will be back to office on 2nd Jan

Husband is doing well in his career, my son is thriving in school...Im still struggling to find a work place that i like. So, I'm just curious to know why there's such a negative stigma behind EC services. It's not only from students, but teachers as well. I've had teachers say that they didn't think kids should be pulled out bc they'll feel singled out and didn't want them to be seen as associated with EC...Wth?! Currently and I'm stuck creating a document as I keep getting 'G/L account 121001 is relevant for tax; please check tax code'. I check 121001 and tax category states all tax types allowed.
